Re: Any better ITX than SG06? Maybe PC-Q07 or Node 304 or PC
I was looking at this case but It does not seem to be available in the USA. So I purchased the CM 130 Elite with the black mesh in the front. I usually dont build computers with video cards. I would not really call myself a silent builder, but I just like a quiet comptuer to use for internet video w...

Re: Windows 8: what do you think about it?
Well I saw some interesting things in this new Blue Window update to Wiin 8. Maybe that is just an update pack. They are calling Blue, Win 8.1 . . . . June 26 release date? Maybe. http://www.eweek.com/enterprise-apps/microsoft-blue-update-is-officially-windows-8.1/ http://www.optimizewindows8.net/20...

Re: Why I won't recommend a Haswell system until August+
A die shrink does not necessarily equate to lower temp. Even if it is more efficient, often they add more transistors and the surface of the cpu decreases. They also increased the capabilities of the GPU, which could create more heat. It seems like every time there is a die decrease that the process...

Re: Case choices: Fractal R4, Antec Solo II or something els
I like the Antec case and from my experience they build solidly built cases. However, sometimes they dont have that great of cable management. I have an older MATX case and it has a similar front that is flat with the side air intakes and I think that makes the case more sound reducing. Having thike...

Re: HTPC case and spec advice
I have read some reviews on this case and they say the case fan is noisy. Some tried another fan and it was still noisy. It might be caused by how they made the grill on the case for the air to flow through. If air flow is restricted then sometimes the fan makes more noise or runs harder. I was cons...

Re: Mini-ITX- Thermaltake SD101? Alternatives?
Maybe use an alternative motherboard. Ever thought of using Thin Mini-ITX? Makes for less wires inside the case. The problem with most HTPC setups is where you are going to put the case and the overall width and length and height requirements. It kind of dictates the limited space for an after-marke...
