Re: around 700 watt quiet psu for next gen graphics cards
Nope, I read reviews from the same sites for both the two psus and looked at the fan behaviour depending on erogated w (the charts were made with the same test methodology). And the RMX seems to be more "fanless" than the supernova

Re: Recommendations for silent / quiet HDs 1 Tb size
I know that lots of people do not like them because of the fail rate due to their idle mode every 8 seconds (don't know how to explain it, I'm not English, is a little bit difficult)

Re: around 700 watt quiet psu for next gen graphics cards
I found the rmx series of corsair to be the one that don't make the fan spin for the longest time. In my opinion they are more quiet than the supernova

Re: Recommendations for silent / quiet HDs 1 Tb size
I'm stuck with the same decision as you. I saw the new WD blue 5400rpm, anyone has some feedback about them, are they as Silent as the previous green, and did they solve the greens' issues?

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
After a bit of searching, I decided for the Pro M, but not the simple one, the acrylic window version. With that I think my configuration will be well cooled, am I right? QUESTO I also opted for a Corsair RM750X instead of the supernova p2 because of availability where I'm going to buy an for the ef...

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
Sorry, didn't noticed it. So arc midi r2 or enthoo pro m, I like them both what's the best? One of them as some more than the other? Right now this is where we have arrived: PHANTEKS Enthoo pro m EVGA SuperNOVA P2 Msi Krait x99s I7 5820k Prolimatech Genesis Corsair Vengeance 16gb 3000mhz cl15 lpx Sa...

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
Thanks a lot. Regarding the case I think that define s has the same problem the other user told about P400S, the front panel that could make the intaking more difficult than in the enthoo. Is my thought right or am I wrong? On the heatsink due to availability in the shop I have to buy in I'll take o...

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
I like two of them, the pc 08 and the air540 but they are too expensive, I mean the first one is way too expensive and the second one is just too expensive compared to the enthoo pro m that ok is 2/3cm higher but is also better looking Abuja you have the silver arrow, how are you feeling about it? I...

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
Ok, so I'll take phanteks Enthoo pro m and I'll use two Silent wings 2 140mm in the front and one on the rear and a silent wings 2 120mm on the top. I'll also take a WD green the EZRX one. Now the heatsink, megahalems or Genesis or d15? I wonder if the two fan in the genesis could generate turbolence

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
So now my doubt is between megahalems and Genesis. They have more or less the same price where I buy. Is the Genesis better in cooling vrms and rams? Regarding the case, it will be a though choice. The mastercase 5 is too big, maybe the enthoo pro m I don't know... the fact is that is 50cm tall. I s...

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
Regarding Silver Arrow it is used and the previous owner sell it with 3 fans (original model) and it seems to be in good condition. Another option could be the Megahalems or Genesis. There are no many heatsink available where I have to buy (and I cannot change it unfortunally) About the case, what w...

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
Ok, got it. I found the silver arrow at around 60€ with three fans included, the ninja4 new is sold for 45€ Which is the more convenient? What's bad about the p400s? Why you say there is a lack of airflow? I'll put 2x140mm in the front and 2x120 respectively back and top, why it's not enough? And ab...

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
The evga p2 seems the best choice since straight power has only one eps cable and I saw my mobo has a 8+4 pin eps connector and also the evga is almost completely fanless in my range of W. Now talking about the heatsink, Ninja 4 you said is better, ok. Is it competitive, like I don't know, at least ...

Re: My new silent rig 5820K + R9 390
I'll use it only for gaming, but in my family this pc will be used also for work. So the 5820k was the best choice to mix gaming and rendering + video editing. And I also hope dx12 will help this cpu due to 6 cores.
Anyway, heatsink is my first issue right now...

Re: Scythe Kotetsu CPU Cooler: A Compact King
Hi guys, I read the review of this cooler and I was asking myself if it can be a good choice for my new rig: I7 5820K MSI X99A SLI KRAIT 16GB DDR4 I would like to overclock to 4.3-4.5Ghz but my principal concern is noise. Is it the best I can get? I will switch tha pre installed fan to the exhaust p...
