Best video card I can put in HDPLEX H5?

Just according to the site, it seems the best I can put in is the 1060gtx, has anyone had any luck trying say a gtx 1070? Im not sure either, but does anyone know where to get vapor cooling pipes? It seems much better then solid copper pipes.

Re: Streacom FC5 Evo, and HDPLEX H5 chassis comparison

H5 has hidden optical drive bay. You should also consider do you really need an optical drive..? I haven't used one in literally 5 years, but that's just me. Only advantage I see from the FC5 is it's slimmer, but if you have a graphicss card you need that space anyways ... sounds like you should pi...

Re: Streacom FC5 Evo, and HDPLEX H5 chassis comparison

Hi, I have worked with HDPlex's H5 case, which performs very well cooling processors and graphics cards. The Streacom case not only doesn't allow 8 heatpipes with the mount, but there also isn't much space on the side of the case to attach the heatpipes to. I think you would also have difficulty fi...

Streacom FC5 Evo, and HDPLEX H5 chassis comparison

Hello, I am wondering here if anyone has had experience with either of these two case chassis for silent builds. The streacom doesnt seem to offer the 8 pipe support that the HDPLEX has, but is that only the cpu mount? Either way I would like to get away with 8 heat pipes. In short, I would like to ...

Re: Is there someway to hybrid liquid cool a CPU?

I've seen hybrid cooling some (10?) years ago. Somebody made a water block with cooling fins. Test result was that the cooling fins added no extra cooling and it wasn't worth the effort. When water cooling the CPU you still need some airflow to cool VRMs, chipset, RAM and everything else though. So...

Is there someway to hybrid liquid cool a CPU?

This exist for GPU's the on board fan, or duel fans working in synergy, but its better in my case for a silent build. Im guessing there is some exotic block somewhere that I dont know the term for because I havent found it. Corsair did something they call a hybrid cpu cooling for SFF, but its really...

Re: Gentle Typhoons alternatives for radiator cooling?

Here is some options, 1) Nidec Servo Gentle Typhoon D1225C12B5AP 120mm 1850 rpm Yes, they are faster than what you have used, but they undervolt well, usually the 1850rpms was able to drop around 400rpms, so i would consider this still an option as long as you can undevolt heavy. another option ver...

Re: All water cooling the SFF SG06, I need your help doing i

Watercooling is not the favourite cooling method around here - pump noise tends to become more apparent that fan noise and it's unlikely to give much better cooling than some of the bigger air coolers on the market. Looking at the hardware listed in the link, are you using a 3570k for a new build? ...

All water cooling the SFF SG06, I need your help doing it.

This 3D model is my general inspiration for the build. https://grabcad.com/library/watercooled-mitx-pc - Go to slide 7 and load it to view it. I am not sure about the fan and radiator, both of which look like they can be bigger slightly, and I think there is a much quieter fan that pushes far more a...
