ok now the sonata has arrived and the new AMD 2400+ is running inside. for the moment I'm running 4 hard drives, which means a full sonata array. I use the 120mm that came along with the case and also a Papst 120mm in the front. the maxtor temps are very satisfying now. it stabilizes around 35 degre...

addyngan, I dont use AAM yet, but looking at the temp from dtemp is frightening. the drive has been idle for about an hour and the temp is 48 degrees Celsius!! that's awfully high! it started at around 28 degrees, and now 48. :( EDIT: now it has reached 51 degrees. damnit I hate sending back product...
