Re: 2011 SSD pricing (for drives >= Intel G2 X-25V 40GB perf

At the moment Amazon has only the 80 GB left. Price after rebate: $69.95.
Newegg has the Intel 320 120GB for $119.99 after mail-in rebate.

US only :( :( :(

Re: Efficient ~250W PSU available already?

Thanks for the link Multiplexer. A good thorough review. In the meantime i came across the Fortron FSP250-60EGA ==> 250w gold http://www.fspgroupusa.com/fsp25060ega/p/843.html I cannot find much info about it. There is a shop in Poland that sells it for 70.00 zł (less than €17 !!) link: http://www.d...

Re: Antec truepower quattro fan replacing

:thumbs up: congratulations :-) Temp 30C, is that idle or load, measured where exactly? What casefans do you have if any and which case. Bottom or top mounted psu? (25C before 30C after swap) The ambient temperature is like 4 degrees higher then before the swap I suspect those two could very well be...

Re: Efficient ~250W PSU available already?

Interesting product. German C'T magazine tested this and found the following with regards to noise: Die Geräuschentwicklung blieb stets unter der Messgrenze unserer schallarmen Kammer (0,1 Sone, 17 dBA), das Jumper 300G arbeitet fast unhörbar leise. Mit dyna- mischer 12-Volt-Last konnten wir ihm kei...

I'm with kater. The faster 939 dual cores go for about $100 or more on ebay. For a few dollars more you can get a new motherboard, CPU and Ram that is much faster and much lower power. That's what i would do probably. The old system would go to a friend or relative. In my experience there is always ...

A super cool quiet room with two guys inside talking.
It felt sort of sacrilegious to me.
They could have at least whispered. :roll:

Interesting thing the one guy said about the wedges and their length. I did not know that.

Eventually the obsession with, and the desire to buy new stuff will go away.

A PicoPSU can be found everywhere but what/where is an efficient power brick.

Also, how can one determine its efficiency?
