I did not seem to find the onbaord vid setup when checking video defaults in the BIOS, it was defaulting to AGP 64 meg aperature. Perhaps I should check it under the MOBO settings?

The pc is an intel 3.0, not sure on mobo, has a built in intel 64 meg vid card. After shutting down all the way. I have the psu ram and hd and looking at going for a barebones Intels, the two I've owned always seemed to give me the middle finger

And pricewatch is more bang for the buck going AMD any thoughts?

I bought a pc with an intel 2.4 and cd rw and stupid 250 watt psu sparkle brand.

I just tried to place a 9800 ati card and modem in it an the mobo died.

If I replace the mobo and reuse the 2.4 cpu will a 300 watt psu handle it ok?
