Oh... this doesn't sound good.

I just got a 1TB WD10EADS for my media centre PC.
Unfortunately, I can't find any utilities on the WD site to turn off the head parking... (Am I just being dumb?)

Does anyone know if this problem has been solved for this particular drive?

Well maybe "whine" is the wrong word...
it's a kind of clicking whirring noise that sounds a bit like ultra-fast
morse code. It's definitely the drive as it synchronises with the
drive light.

Low temeratures? Hmmmm. These are idle temps. Running Unreal 2 (with everything cranked up to the max) they look something like this... CPU 47C MoBo 39C Are those still Low?
