Yeah it's really fast. I am currently playing Raven Shield, Vampire the Masquerade, Unreal 2, Dungeon Siege, Unreal 2003, I want to try Freespace and Half Life 2. I like comp game but I'm really a console gamer. If you have PS2 I highly encourage you to pick up these cheaper PS games : Persona 2, Fi...

Great Idea thanks a bunch :D I was also considering another idea I wanted to run by you guys. I was considering building a half box with an open box on the bottom so the air could flow out near the carpet. I figure much more airflow but now I dont think I will go with this cause I really like that c...

I was hoping that the mid size circle I cut will be enough of an air vent. How would I use a tube? Wouldnt a mid sized hole provide more air. I am interested to hear your tube theory. Thanks for responding to my thread :D . BTW I know Mike C responded to my other thread but that was about store boug...

Important
Thanks for the input I'm glad I didnt just rush out and buy that desk. I just wanted to let everyone know that I think a loose graphic card was causing the excessive noise in my new XPS. I opened the case and tried to tighten things and noticed the graphics card was loose. I figure since it was loos...

Overall though I am happy with the XPS (in the short time I've had it). Yeah the sound sucks but everythi...

Computer Desks that reduce noise
I am looking to buy a computer desks that has a case to hold the computer. At work we have them and you can barely hear the computer when the door is closed. Have you ever heard the XPS in action Rory
Rory have you heard it or are you guessing because the reviews say its a quiet PC and in all the consumer reviews I read no one even mentioned the noise level. I am just hoping that my freind got a bad install because I cant imagine them marketing a comp that loud.
