I've got an HD3450 connected to my 1366x768 LCD TV. It has 1360x768 as a valid resolution. Windows desktop looks better than 1280x720, but still blurry text. I don't see any options to set custom resolutions. :( I was going to try power strip, probably next week when I'm installing my blu-ray drive...

I'm fighting hard drive heat myself now. Finally got around to attempting to decouple my Cuda IV, which would eliminate the final source of noise in my quiet little PC. I've got to figure out a way to strap some heatsinks to the side of the drive so that it can stay a little cooler. I'm not comforta...

Perhaps you're thinking of the 6600 series, which are 8-pipe.

6800 = 12-pipe
6800GT/Ultra = 16-pipe

Either way, a passive 6800 sounds bitchin' :)

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but the Powercolor Radeons are half-height and TV equipped. IIRC, there's a 7500, 9200SE, and 9600SE available in low-profile format. Check Newegg.

Why do you even need more heatsink than what came on that 7500? I use the fanless versions of the 7500 in many of my builds and they run just fine with that small factory heatsink on them and no additional cooling at all. *confirmed* I run a passive 9000, and IIRC there's even a fanless 9600 . I do...

God only knows how low that thing's clocked at. Keep in mind that since it's an OEM part it can go way, way down. A certain manufacturer runs their FX5200s at 250/180 - like they weren't neutered enough already.

You remember bigfoots right? The harddrive that is everything a barracuda isn't. Slow, Loud, and Big. (Big only in physical size, not capacity)
Remember it? I used to have one for its best purpose - a doorstop. :D

Not because you have an 85w PSU (The 180 is the weakest thing I've got)

But because you still own a Quantum fireball.
Two, actually. My Fireball EL is just homeless at the moment. :D
