Here's an update: Yes it is indeed all these things. I'm a desktop to laptop converter and my silent nerve is pleased! I've had this beauty for a couple of month now and the only time I hear it is late at night when it's SUPERQUIET outside and in my apartment. It's nice and portable but yet I can pl...

Added the 5K80..

But I could also get any 2,5" HD out there and add it in myself.. So if I take away the limitation of these 4 HDs. Which 80GB+ HD would you recommend? Also I will probably want 5400rpm+..

Asus W3V - The perfect power/portability hybrid! But quiet?

Well? Is it? I'm in the market of buying a laptop. And I have pretty much settled for the ASUS W3V. It is the best combination between power(ATI GPU) and portability(14,1" & 5.5lbs/2.2kg). But the combination does not sound(no pun intended) quiet.. I've read in notebookreview forums of people succes...

Yup, that I knew. But you haven't tried that out..yes

Also, is there enough vertical room to hang(decouple), with rubber bands, 2 3,5" drives in the 3,5" tray?

Can you make the VFD display show the current movie/song title and porhaps: time played in the lower left and total time of the movie/song in the lower right corner?

I guess that will require a meedio plugin, no? Or does meedio playback movies in the windows default player?

I only have a TV output connector by the TV, is there a cable so I can just split the signal? or how does that work? If I get a 6800GT card. How can I make it as quiet as possible? 1GB RAM At least. ATI Radeon X800/9800 PRO/XT - HL2 is out! Gotta love it! :D I would go Nvidia because I like their display control panel better. But the nvidia cards tend to be harder to keep quiet since they use more power.. But if you have got a good suggestion I might change my mind.. (2x?)Hau...

Porhaps I will be forced to do the mods mentioned in the linked review or porhaps I'll just be lazy and get a Reserator. A Reserator would make a mockery of the idea of such a case, no? First question what do you want to run for PVR software? You can run one of the linux PVRs like MythTV and Freevo. You can run BeyondTV with Windows (Windows + $70), or you can use Windows Media Center Edition, which costs just less than XP Pro, but has higher system requirements. I have found that...

WC the NB with the other GWB1 block vertically/horisontally?

I'm getting a DFI LP NF3 UT Motherboard and the reserator to cool my CPU, X800XT and possibly the NB with the other waterblock you get with the GWB1. Should I mount it vertically or horisontally? If mounted vertically I guess the water would flow by much quicker and cool less but then the water woul...

Can you press the buttons quite easily directly on the card? Or do you need something narrower, like a pen? I recall you saying that it always gives the fan a 12V startup and then goes down? Porhaps not? Porhaps only to 4.5V and then manually down to 2.8V? Well it only resets to 4.5V when you power ...

http://www.imagelink.org/id4926.jpg Well the fan controller board is easily removable from the case, but the chrome buttons remain attached to that front blue panel. You could use the controller board by itself, but you'd just have bare micro-switches on a board to control your fans. The LED displa...
