Does anyone have any recommendations for the kind of soft foam I should use to lay my HDD on in the bottom of my case?

I want to take all the drive sleds out of my Silverstone FT02 and put a piece of soft foam in there and lay my WD 2TB Green on it so that there is 0 vibration transmitted to the case.

What kind of foam do I need and where should I buy it from?

Newegg reviews are from people who are generally morons when it comes to computers. Also look at all the good reviews They vastly outweigh the bad.

Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean WD is bad. Their GreenPower drives are the highest rated storage drives on SPCR for silence. I've never had a problem with WD, been using them for 10+ years.

As for the OP, I'd go with the WD 2TB EARS if you can make sure it's the 3 platter version.

Is anyone besides Newegg going to carry the X-400 and X-460? Their shipping prices and tax (CA) just kill it for me.

Yeah they are charging $10 shipping on the 460 but free shipping on the 400, no wonder they are happy to provide the coupon for the 460.

Get some decent case airflow on the X-400/460 and they'll easily do 600W+, the components inside are highly overspeced.

I want to try and make everything in my system passive, so I'll probably drop my CPU back to stock speeds. Shouldn't be a problem then, and I want to get the X-460 as well since it has more headroom.

Could a Seasonic X-400 run a overclocked Core i7 and a single GTX 480 in a Silverstone FT02?

I just ordered a Seasonic X-750, got it for $139.99. Should I return it and wait for the X-760 instead since it has the improved insides of the X-400 fanless series?
