I actually feel sorry for whichever one of us gets to review this thing...just think of all the fan configurations they're going to have to test to make the readers happy. With this in mind, I'd like to throw out my ideal configuration (for consideration while testing). For Sure: Single Samsung sus...

Saw this at X-bit Labs. http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/display/ati-powercons.html Part 1 details power consumption of ATI graphics cards, from 9600 to X800. Very detailed. Shows draw on 4 pin molex power connector and AGP slot, and individual power draw on each rail. D'oh! You were faster! ...

OK thanks for the reply. I've looked att the pictures on overclockers.com and measured them. I've concluded that I need 2,5-3cm clearence and it sounds like P160 has enough room. 2" is about 5cm i think. I would really like to know if there is enough clearence in a Super Lanboy or a Lian-Li V1000/11...

VERY nice! I was wondering how large the distance is between the top of the motherboard to the PSU. I've been thinking of getting one of these myself and then I want to be able to fit the new Thermalright XP-120. Wonderful guide btw. If I get the P160 I will definently have a few looks more in this ...

I must say it is a ****ing jungle out there ! I´m now seriously considering watercooling but it is so expensive.. What do you think? I saw a watercooled psu today it seemed cool  . The choice is quite limited in Europe. After going through a few PSUs I finally stoppped at Zalman. It is not totally silent but keeps very, very quiet. You know, the sound of air flowing ... I have certinly noticed the limited choise  At this time I think I will go for a psu from www.backnois...

The best alternative yet seems to be http://www.blacknoise.de/shop/en_EN/pro ... elais.html it is a bit expensive but maybee they are worth the money. It is silent if the specs are correct and the 120mm fan should give it a good airflow.

Which SILENT psu to get in Europe?
Hi to you all this is my first post here! :D First of all I would like to thank you guys for the advice you've given to others from which I’ve learnt a lot. :D Now to my problem, my current psu is very loud and sounds almost as much as my TV with a reasonable volume... It hurts my ears while sitting...
