The noise is about the same as without the zalman. Some low frequency buzz (motor noise?) and like 95% of seek noise is gone. The suspension does not effect high-frequency idle whine. I haven't actually tried using just the zalman, since I owned the NoVibes first.

I just replaced the stock fan on my Hercules 8500LE card with a Zalman ZM17-Cu.
