Been A while

well, its been a long time since i posted, was planning to get a new vga cooler for my x800 cause the fan is making some sort of grinding noise sometiems. I currently have a artic silencer on it, and its pretty good, xcept the annoying clicking sound that it made by pwm. Was curious if the new ones ...

those temps are very good, mine idles at 45 passive and when i max it out, i think it goes to 50, or lower cause the fan just lowers the heat really fast. Im on an A64 3400+ on an asus k8n. Cool n quiet and Asus Fan Control PWNZ

i got the v1100. It lookes nice and everything for a small setup. But I hated the front intake. I had my hds running >40'c. Switched to a coolermaster centurion 5. Much better. Not purely silent, but just choose quiet parts to begin with and it soundssss ssooooo goood...if i can hear it

im getting a bit confused from all these posts. The battery on the card allows it to be power for 16hours when no power is supplied to the card right?. so as long as u have the card connected to the pci slot, and the power connected to the wallk, even though the computer is off, the card should be a...

Id personally stick with the zalman 7000alcu, just more cause how the shape works with my case fan. my asus mobo turns off the fan, and my cpu runs passively at 42'c. kicks in around 55 exactly.

i have about 7 seagates in my house running. Do a scandisk and defrag once a while, been like 3 years, they all still good. make sure to have proper cooling for hds, i think thats probably why most hard drives fail. bad cooling, bad psu, or just bad luck

i had a backplate on my mobo, it was tough to remove by hand, i thought it was like permanently stuck, i just used a letter opener, smoother sides, and shoved it beween the board and the backplate. Popped right off!

i use the zalman alcu with Cool n Quiet and Q fan. Qfan is important since its the actual slowing down cpu fan speed. Coon n quiet just lowers its voltage or what not to reduce draw. I recommend not to connect the fanmate, and get some good thermal paste. Im sitting here with my fan not spinning at ...

mmm what i do is have a zalman hd cooler, mount it, and remove the 5.25 front bezel so it acts an intact. Temps have not rose above 40 c i think the reason y it works so well is probably the 120 rear fan sucking all the air in. love them 120s

Seagate Sata Problems?

i got a 200gb serial ata seagate hd, and whenever i try to defrag it, it will freeze up in windows. I notice that most of my hds have "file system" errors, so i doubt that its that problem, other than that, the os and everything is fine. Its just when i want to defrag. Also when i try to chkdsk, it ...

i installed my sisters zalman 7000 alcu and i think i did it pretty much as the instructions said. I just note that the cooler is a bit looser/more twistable than the 7000alcu install on my a64 is this normal?

i love my centurion 5, sure noise comes out, but the fact is that u can get more air into the case much better. plus it does it with style.
