I just purchased and installed a Enermax Liberty EL500AWT. you might of got a lemon when you tested it. mine is almost silent. the fan runs at between 870 to 1150 rpm. all i can hear is wind noise but it blends in with my 2 120mm fans running at 7vts. this psu is just as quiet as my 475w enermax noi...

i got one of the Nexus fans. It is real quiet but doesnt push much air. I put the fan in the front slot of my case and my temps have dropped about 3c because of the increase in air flow. i dont think this would be a good fan to put on my dangerden heatercore. it doesnt push enought air to cool the r...

So what is the 120mm fan of choice right now?
I am looking for a good, silent 120mm fan for my setup. I see the Nexus is popular.

justlnluck. I wonder if you got a bum noisetaker, i love mine above all other supplies i have used. The only time mine ever feels warm is under heavy gaming for over 30mins. I think that has nothing to do with the psu and more to do with case cooling. I cant hear the supply over my water pump if tha...

i am wondering if it might be just as efficent to run my system in series. i would run it as follows pump gpu rad1 rad2 cpu F&B pump i think it would really make a difference with the amount of tubes in my system. it would clean it up alot. would there be any temp difference if i ran it in series? r...

i might try that. the only thing that would change is where the gpu is in the circuit. right now i have pump gpu rads in parrell cpu f&b pump i solved the problem with my pump noise. it was all vibration. i put 1 inch thick foam under it and on the sides. it is now really quiet, not silent, but real...

that is weird with your quick connects. i had to really push hard to get them to mount. I put alittle bit of liquid soap on the tubes and really had to push them real hard to make them go in. dont get me wrong, they work just as advertised. i have zero leaks on any of my connections so i am happy wi...

My Swiftech H20-8600-A with 2 rads arrives this week

I am going to have to mod my case a little to make everything fit but it should be a fun weekend. I am getting sick of the case fans in my system. they are already quie...

i highly recommend the Enermax NoiseTaker EG475P-VE SFMA. I have one and it never becomes audible no matter the load. I have the fan on low setting. my case temp is 35 max under heavy load. the psu will rev up to around 1200rpm when under heavy/hot conditions, this is still inaudible. great supply. ...
