No I believe they are different than the R5. Here is the product page.

Looks like 1000 RPM is what they will do. So far very pleased with them. Just ordered one more 140MM one for the front of my Antec P380 case...

Fractal Design Dynamic Fan Series
Just wanted to let everyone know, I've just installed some new Fractal Design Dynamic GP12 and GP14 fans. The GP12 is the 120MM version and the GP14 is the 140MM version. Both are I'm glad to report very very quiet. And they also push a good amount of air. They feel really well built. And the price ...

Re: Fractal Design R5 build
Awesome build man Very clean setup. I too just finished building my R5 and it is by fan the quietest build I've ever done. I'll throw up some pictures later. Well done very nice build indeed....

Best Silent PC Build Yet :-)
I just built a new PC using a Fractal R5. I am using just 2 Akasa Black Apache PWM 120mm fans, one on the RAD for my corsair H55 CPU cooler and one as an intake. And let me tell you, this is by far the quietest PC I have ever built. I can't even tell its on. My Gtx 980 fans only come on when it gets...

Re: OK cooling or more?
I added a front Akasa 120MM fan, the same one that is on the RAD. My temps idle went down a bit. CPU is now at 28 and now GPU is about 42. System is still dead quiet. I have not had a chance to check load temps yet though...

OK cooling or more?
I setup my computer as being a silent one. Currently I have only 1 120MM fan connected to my RAD on my corsair H55 CPU cooler. That is the only fan in my system. The fan is the Akasa 120MM Apache PWM silent fan. Which is dead silent. I also have a MSI gaming Gtx 980 where the fans only come on when ...

How accurate are product specs?
I was looking at the Fractal R2 Silent 120MM Black out 120 mm fan. In the specs it says that its CFM is 66 and that its DBA is only 18 at 1300 RPM. I find that really hard to believe. How accurate are product specs usually? I also saw the Akasa Black Apache 120MM fan with 57 CFM at 18 DBA also at 13...

Re: Which case 550D or R4?
I actually went and ordered the Fractal XL R2. It looks like its got plenty of room behind the motherboard and lots of space on the inside. I just hope those 140MM fans are quiet
EDIT: Never mind I cancelled the order. After measuring the case its way way to big. Maybe the R4 instead

Re: Which case 550D or R4?
I do like the 550D :-) but I thought something different might be in order. Just wasn't sure what most people were saying about the R4 in terms of cable management and quietness. I know on the 550D one thing I love is how much room you have behind the motherboard tray. Its like 2 inches which is per...

Which case 550D or R4?
Looking for a new case for a new build. Its either going to be the Corsair 550D or The Fractal R4 (Perhaps XL R2) Looking for clean looks, plenty of cable management behind the motherboard tray. And of course quiet
Thanks

Re: Corsair Obsidian 550D Case - No Love Here?
I have that case. And its awesome. Its not super quiet but its perfect for my tastes. And I think it looks better than most cases out their like the R3, R4 P280 etc. I ended up spray painting that Silver I/O plate in the from black. Now the case is all black which is even better. Cable management on...

Re: Corsair's new fans
Just installed these in my PC. They are quiet but they are not nearly as quiet as the Scythe Sflex 800 rpm fans I had before. I got the 110 rpm ones from Corsair. Now I know they are about 300 RPMs more but they are certainly louder than the Sflex fans. And my temps are about the same with both. I t...

140mm Side Panel Fan Vibration
I need to cool my 680 SLI setup better. Adding a 140mm fan to my side panel on my R3 did the trick. Problem is the dam thing vibrates like crazy. I have tried zip ties rubber screws nothing works. I even tried to put some foam in between the mount and the panel. Nothing I just get this nice vibratin...

Side fan causing loud vibration
I'm trying to put a side fan on my case to cool down my SLI setup. But everytime I try it, no matter what fan I use, I tried a 120mm and 140mm I get a loud vibration noise. I have used rubber screws stand offs etx nothing seems to work. Having the fan on their drops my GPU temps alot so I would like...

Scythe Slim 120mm Fan?
I need a 120MM slim fan for my CPU cooler. The normal 120mm fans would hit my memory heatsink. I was looking at the scythe 120mm slim fan and was wondering how quiet they really are? Or is their another brand that is really quiet, much more so then the scythe?
Thanks

Re: Twin Turbo 2 out
Ok got it installed today. First off its dead quiet at pretty much any fan speed. Install was easy. I set my fan speed to 30% and it seems to idle at 32 which is fantastic. I played BC2 for a bit and load was around 53. Another excellent result. It seems a bit bigger than the twin turbo pro, taller ...
