Can anyone recommend a good dust filter?

I'm building a custom PC case, and at the front will be a 12cm fan. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good dust filter? I see this one seems to be common online: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400057425819&viewitem= http://www.universaluk.com/acatalog/water_mark_ak_fa...

35c on the GPU? Wow, my GPU goes to over 100, lol. It's a 6800GT with a much quieter fan on it, but yeah it sure runs hot. Good to know the CPU's now are running a lot cooler. I think most of my problem though, is that this will be in a giant polystyrene case, with no way to get cool air inside and ...

I've been recommended the Apex Ultra H20-220, which seems to have gotten really good reviews.

90 degree bends in water cooling?

Hi! I haven't posted here for ages, since building my last PC (Antec 180 case and such, good stuff) but now I'm creating a custom case in the shape of a life sized anime character. This means though, that air flow and space above the CPU are really limited. Since I'm planning on putting a quad core ...

Is my AC NV Silencer 5 Rev.3 blowing the right way?

I've installed the Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 5 Rev.3 to my Gigabyte 6800 GT, only the old fan connector was extremely hard to remove from the video card. I got it out and thought everything was ok, but I must have somehow damaged the fan connector (looks fine but doesn't go anymore). Anywho, so I s...

Thanks!

At the moment my GPU is (in just normal windows) 62 degrees C, the system is 38.

I'll probably go for the Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 5 Revision 2 (edit - Crazy PC ran out of stock but are sending the new Revision 3 instead, which is the same but has support for the 7800 range)

The Zalman ZM80D-HP can't be installed on a 6800 GT?

I'm hoping to silence my GigaByte GeForce 6800 GT GV-NX68T256D-B 256mb Video Card, ideally without any fans. I saw the Zalman ZM80D-HP was highly recommend here as silent GPU cooler, but then found some sites that say "This product is not installable on an nVidia GeForce 6800 GT, 6800 Ultra because ...

I've installed my PC parts in the P180 case, but when it came to putting the sides back on... they weren't going on easy, but I checked the obvious things like I had them the right way around etc ;) And nothing was in the way... but no they should be fine I think, so I tried putting them on again bu...

I see there's some more expensive models like this one which don't have knobs, but the screen seems a real waste on a case with a door ;)

Enough room for a fan controller behind the Antec P180 door?

I was about to order a fan controller (like http://www.xoxide.com/xcontroller.html) but thought perhaps there isn't enough room under the P180's door to fit knobs?

I was wondering if there was much room, and if anyone else uses a controller (which one?) with this case.

Thanks very much!

Yeah I was worried about that too... what happens if it doesn't reach, is it easy/safe to get a short extension cable for that connector?

I believe the DFI LanParty UT NF4's motherboards too have it up in the top corner, which couldn't be further away from the PSU.

At last I decide on the specs, any thoughts?

My new computer which I'll put together in early August has taken a long time, much reading and much wonderful advice from forum members to decide upon, but at last I've got all the parts listed. Because of the price I might buy the 2nd LCD, 2nd Video Card and 2nd GB of Ram in a month or two, and a ...

--- About slowing memory on 4 dimms, I see just most (if not all?) nForce4 motherboards do that. Hmm, but the speed is apparently decided by the memory controller on the CPU, and I have a Toledo (X2 4400+), which will run at 400mhz. So if this is right, the mhz is ok with 4 dimms, but the timing wil...
