SpeedFan seems to be an awesome program! My only problem with it is that my NF7-S board only seems to let two fans be controlled by it. The third fan RPM sensor works but it doesn't let you control it. Another rather annoying thing is that while some people apparently can get 8rdavcore to work...

Anyone have any opinions on this fan speed controller?
I'm looking for a fan speed controller with an "off" setting. I'm not thrilled that this has the CCFLs as I probably wouldn't use them but I do like the looks of the faceplate. Anyone know how this particular unit performs? Does it cause fan buzzing?

Ok, I just replaced an LX-6A19 with a BQE because it is WAY quieter in my opinion. I have the exact same components in the system and I prefer the BQE by a landslide. I've also had an AMB and that wasn't too bad. The thing I absolutely despise with the LX-6A19 is that the front little door over the ...

I too am looking for a quiet cooler for a Geforce4 Ti4200. I've seen the following cooler that would be really nice to run on this card but it's not compatible: http://www.svc.com/vga-rev3.html I used to have a Radeon 9700 Pro with a Zalman but it boosted case temps too much and was really overkill....

Fan speed controllers
Hey Guys, I've got the following fan speed controller: http://www.svc.com/35drivbayvrf.html I've got a couple pet peeves with it though. 1. I can't use it to turn fans off. 2. It is a pain to hook up fans to the thing because of how it mounts in the 3.5" bay. I'm looking for a controller that looks ...

I have one of these chips. Don't assume they're some sort of miracle chip. They're not. They are just picked out of some higher quality wafers than many other Barton 2500s. The stock rating is something like 133x15 or thereabouts and they run at 1.45 volts at THAT setting. They do not run at 1.45v a...

Zalman Northbridge Coolers interfere with an SP-97?
Well I finally figured that the annoying buzzing noise I was hearing from my computer was the little northbridge fan on my Abit NF7-S. I'm currently running a Thermalright SLK-947U (with a SP-97 in the mail already) and I need to replace this NB fan with a passive cooler. I'm considering these two Z...
