the ravenbridge apu is attractive with 4 cores and gpu i am wondering will the 7nm die shrink allow for apu to go up to 8 cores since its 2x density i understand scaling isn't 100% perfect and then is it better to have 4 cores @ 7nm lower power or 8 cores @ 7nm and higher power I've read decent ana...

Streacom and HDPlex make fanless cases also have some that support ATX last time i checked, you can contact them to see if the motherboard you are considering is supported. If you are looking for a higher end then, look into Calyos 0dB gamer / workstation PC looks "interesting" but in my mind asus ...

is there any "custom designed" heat pipe coolers/cases
i know there are mini-itx form factors with heatpipe built into case. is there anything like that for atx cases, i know this is going to be immensely expensive, but is there any sort of custom design atx cases with heat pipe coolers built into the case and dumps heat out of the case? since different...

specifically 1 brand amd 1 product ryzen 4 cores vs 8 cores ? i'd imagine tdp of 8 cores is about 2x of 4 cores. this is spcr so tdp and silent cooling is an issue 8 cores though sounds like the future. the additional cost of 8 cores isn't too much, motherboard and memory is same more cores means mo...

speaking of airflow
nofan has d/c the 95, only 80 is left
but i was envisioning
amd ravenbridge ap @ 7nm
nofan cpu cooler
seasonic titanic fanless
atx mid tower case with mesh design
no fans
no add in gpu card
nvme evo 970

I've installed a couple of NVMe SSDs on some systems. I have run into temperature issues with them. At the very least, without some airflow, they can get over 70C. On one, we started seeing data corruption when it was running at 75C. I didn't install any heat sinks on them but added some additional...

i still have a couple of socket 370 aluminum and copper heat sinks from the celeron 300a days
not sure how to fix it to ssd but rubber band or possibly cable ties
don't want to crack it obviously.
