I would suggest what MikeC had mentioned for testing the PSU.
Also try to do what is known as minimum boot as suggested by Ralf - Here is an excellent article on the subject - http://www.motherboards.org/forums/view ... hp?t=39873
Good Luck!

I'd suggest against it, to be honest - XP is the way to go. First off W2k prof is fully matured and I have been using this in my computer for 3 years without any problem. I hate the licensing procedure of XP and do not plan to use it! Our solution: run Win2K with HT off. I agree! I have already tak...

Tried to do this for my DVD+RW drive but was too difficult  Gave Up! Maybe you will be lucky. The 5.25" bay is very close fit in LIAN LI and there is NO allowance...

Have you tried booting up with just the PSU-MoBo-CPU-HSF-RAM-Vidcard as the other two posters have already suggested? Yes. No beeps. Only the STANDBY power LIGHT is lit in the mobo! I then removed the RAM and GFX card ... same result. So, my assumption is either the mobo or/and cpu is/are bad - The...

Both of us here and everyone on that motherboards.org thread recommend almost the same "minimum install".
