I got some from http://www.geeks.com/ They cost $3.75 a piece The shipping was sort of expensive though, it cost $13 for UPS 3 day service. I've heard this with other people too, when you get them, you have align the adaptor pin1 to pin1, and then break off one of the pins so it can connect to the k...

I bought a s12-380, which also came with a clicking fan. It was actually purchased an an experimental alternative to an Antec Phantom, under the theory that temperatures would cause less ramp up of my nexus case fan. I replaced the s12 fan with a spare Nexus 120mm. Occasionally the fan would not sta...

Haha I knew someone would point out that they do indeed give you one slot cover. The metal around the rear is what has bent on mine, at least it made it easy to cut off the fan gril. I guess the panels don't bend, but they didn't feel as heavy as the old antec. (I did switch from an old antec which ...

I got the centurion. It is really cheap quality compared to the antec. Its only redeaming value is it is cool, and looks cool. The metal is thin, easily bends. They don't give any io slot covers, the existing ones are snap off. The usb ports on mine didn't work, I'm still waiting on a replacement fr...

I run a 2.6 pentium, with old geforce 256. It has a 5 v 80mm fan on side (blowing out), and 5 v 80mm fan on back (blowing out). Using these two fans, it runs acceptably. But when using it to do FEA for work, it gets uncomfortably hot, and I opened the side up. I'm not sure how a 92mm nexus compares,...

How open is the Phantom's rear panel? I can't tell from Mike's review. From the rear panel, it is possible to see through the unit, I'm not sure what type of air resistance it is. I may play around with using a fan with it, I guess the advantage of this unit is that I will be adding the fan on my o...

just bought phantom, impressions
I just got the Antec phantom on a whim, I had got a seasonic super silencer a while ago, and found it to be not that quiet for me (relative to a modded trupower). Rather than do a fan mod, I decided to return it to the store, and apply the credit for an antec phantom. I was running on two generic st...

take a standard 80 or 92 mm fan from your local computer store, or online vendor. Cut the fan out of its frame. Take the zalman fan off its metal frame. Buy some silicone glue, and glue the new fan straight onto the metal. Seems risky, but mine has not fallen off yet (been running for many monthes) ...

is this rpm ok on seasonic super silencer 400
I just got a new seasonic super silencer 400 from microcenter. Speedfan tells me it runs at 1308 rpm. This number does not change ever (even under stress). Is that good or bad, I read some other people were getting 800 rpm, and going up to 1300 under stress. I was so proud of myself for having made ...
