Nice job Warrior. I was going to email them next week and ask if they were coming out with a new revision. Good timing too, I was just going to buy an NV silencer to replace my Zalman.

It will fit but it's pretty tight. I've got the S12-500 and the A8n-sli premium and it just barely fits. Actually I think it's putting some tug on the 12v board connector. You have to snake it under the PCI-e lock and around the passive heatsink.

Would a graphics card with an Arctic Cooling Silencer put in the top slot, be in the perfect position to aid with cooling the northbridge heatsink? I've got almost the same setup as the OP and I'm having the same problems. I think it stems from the VF-700 recycling heat back into the case. The NV S...

getting the layer of TIM thin isn't the problem. It's keeping it that way. When I clip on the first side of the Ninja and lower it down the heatsink invariably smudges up the TIM. I can't seem to manage it without getting the TIM smugded. I'm on a 939 if that matters.

Did you have any issues with the vertical mounting? Did you have to string up the elastic any differently?

TIM application during Ninja installation

How the hell are you supposed to apply an even layer of TIM when the Ninja pressures on the CPU like it does? I'm having a bitch of a time trying to keep my application untouched and install the Ninja without bending the fins to high hell. Did anyone else have a problem with this? How about a soluti...

I just don't think the grommets are providing an adequate level of dampening. Seeks are still loud and so are idle's. I figured it was worth a try to see if there was any improvement. I'm just worried about weight load and balance since they won't be sitting horizontally. Anyone having an issue wit...

I initially tried the included silicone rubber grommets on my P180, but no matter how loose>tight I tightened the mounting screws, I was left with an audible hum from my Samsung SP1614N HDD. My solution was to mount it on two 3/8" Sorbothane strips, sitting on top of a drive sled in the upper 3.5" ...

I asked this question a couple of weeks back. The response was tepid at best. Basically the best option is to get an all aluminum unit. The problem with those are that most of the drive tray's don't make proper heatsinks to transfer the heat to the case. It just kind of builds up and overheats. I ha...

I had problems applying to my 7800 with the VF-700. since you can't lay it flat during installation (damned back plate) I kept smudging the nice flat plane I had made. I ended up just putting a dab on. Now I kind of regret it, although my GPU runs about 52-55 @ 5-7v.

Well I've been reading up over at SR and the Maxline are supposed to be enterprize class. I wasn't sure it that lead them to being noiser, or producing more heat, or both. Kind of wanted to hear from anyone who had one to see some first hand results.

Need suggestions on a quiet and cool 300GB+ SATA drive

I'm actually going to end up with more than 1, probably 3. They are going into the bottom chamber of a P180. I recently got 3 bad WD 3200JS drives so I'm not exactly excited about going back to WD. I think the Samsung 250GB is nice but I know that it won't be enough space, which means that I'll end ...

I've currently got a model with a fan and its way way too annoying for me. I was thinking about an all metal unit but most of them don't really conduct heat very well. I was hoping some of you guys might have experience and could lend me a few recommendations. Thanks.
