Re: Windows 7 reporting hard drive failure on old and new HD

I may check it again. I tried wiggling all the wires and reconnecting them. Its strange. I played CIV 4 with my fiance all day today and it didnt do it once. I dont really notice a problem, and no program Ive run has found a problem other than my voltage being a little low.

Re: Lets discuss illegal drugs - and legal ones too

I just want to say that I am 30 years old and I did not try marijuana until last year. I have suffered with major depression, anxiety, and mild schizophrenia for as long as I can remember. I have tried every type of medication, trying to fix these problems. No legal medication has ever produced posi...

Re: Windows 7 reporting hard drive failure on old and new HD

yea problem is still there. could you link me to the correct file for me to download please. My computer is core 2 duo with a Samsung F3 HD103SJ as the only harddrive. I had a Samsung HD501lj which was my only harddrive before it gave me the same error. So either both drives or bad, or possibly neit...

Windows 7 reporting hard drive failure on old and new HD

Ok I moved my computer (which has been working flawlessly before) into the other room and since then windows 7 reported an imminent hard disk failure. So I bought a new Samsung F3 HD103SJ to replace the Samsung HD501lj, that reported the error. The next day that hard drive reports the same error. I'...

Re: Help setting up HDTV to internet through HDMI

Yea it works with sound etc. but I have to change the source everytime which is kinda annoying. Also if I switched to screen duplicate it cuts off the top part of the screen on my monitor because the resolution on the tv is a little different. I wish I could have both play at native resolution with ...

Help setting up HDTV to internet through HDMI

Hi I dont have much experience with multiple monitors so this is all new to me. I have a Sony HDTV kdp-51ws655 which I have connected to my computer through my Evga Geforce 260 GTX core 216's secondary DVI port via a DVI-to-HDMI adapter. I have gotten the picture working but I thought that I would b...

LOL, this reminds me. I was working as an usher at a movie theater. I was having a particularly bad day as I had a coke dumped on me <on purpose> and then later I was cleaning the hallway and this redneck walked up and said, "They should get robots to do that". I proceeded very quickly to blurt out,...

The really ironic part is that I went for a management degree because I thought it was a sure thing. Every business has managers, and my reasoning told me that if I wanted a solid career I should get a degree in something broad. I should have just saved the $25,000 I spent on college and tried to ge...

Im just saying my vanilla evga 260 core 216 overclocked to SC levels ranges from 40 at idle to 60 at full load; and I have never heard the fan. In fact my entire case is pretty much silent, unless you have a really quiet ambient noise level then I doubt that the 260 will be a problem.

I have an Evga 260 core 216 and I would not describe it as loud. My gaming system isn't designed for silence but I could easily sleep with it on. Even while gaming its hard to hear it over the background noise of the room. If the ceiling fan is set on low then I cant even tell the computer is going.

Yea but if you look at benchmarks cpu rarely helps you attain better frame rates. I would keep the q6600 and spend any extra money on a hard drive, SSD, or videocard.
