When i jam the 92 mm fan, it starts making a very loud clicks. Modding a PSU isn't that difficult. Just make sure the cable is unplugged, and you are safe. If you are going to test it when it's open, I would recommend plugging the cable into the PSU first, and into the power jack after that.

For reference, the fan is very loud. At 5V it is fairly quiet, but audiable at close range.

It does not completely lack a heatsink, the edges aroud the fan is the HS.

I hope the Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer will fit.

Since the 9550 is an underclocked 9600, it's got to be cooler, and is a fan really cheaper than a little HS? Can somebody recommend a replacement c...

New fanless CPU heatsink

Thermaltake's reputation isn't very good, but perhaps this is interesting. The idea seems to be using such a big heatsink that it will reach the airflow from the case fan.

Acording to the swedish HW site nordichardware.se the Cu version cools slightly better under heavy load. http://www.nordichardware.se/Recensioner/?page=7&skrivelse=43 It's in swedish, but the graphs should be understandable for everyone. The blue bar is average temp, while the silver one is maximum ...
