Which cooler for an X800 XT-PE

I'm currently looking at the ATI silencer and the Zalman Reserator. Problem is I don't really know how noisy the ATI silencer is. If it isn't at least as quiet as the CNPS-7000 cooling my p4 I'll just save the money and get a Reserator when I can afford one. Does anyone know how it racks up?

How much does AS Thermal cream compare to the Zalman stuff you get with the CNPS7000 in terms of Celsius degrees.

And how much do you get? Enough to apply 10 heatsinks or what?

Well the tape is pretty damn strong!

I tried it out with two pieces of heavy iron and shaked them like a crazy, the tape held it together no probs, so i bet it can hold that petty little plastic fan on. ;)

If it does fall off sometime I'll tell u guys all about it :)

If it was so easy, can you describe how to do it for me then? I'm not going to get an Acoustifan as a replacement. I bought 2 120mms... and... they SUCK. -_-;; So I'll stick with an M1A or L1A... I tried the sucky 120mm AF too, trust me the 92mm is very good, far from the low quality of the 120mm. ...

If you are tired of the clicking do what I and a lot other did: Replace the stock fan and softmount the new one. It IS easy trust me and well worth it, I replaced it with a 92 mm Acoustifan which has been very nice to me, no clicking only soft airwooshing barely audible at low rpm.

Another thing!

Will a duct in an Antec Sonata work? I'm asking this because it looks like the clicking mechanism is right on top of the HSF...

And how do you determine where to put the hole for the duct, I mean u cant really see through the panel so how on earth do you know where the right spot is ?

You got a 450$ Voucher ? O_O Or is it a 50 $ off voucher :S

Anyways sounds like a nice place to shop for us scandinavians.

In denmark the rule of thumb is:

(Official Price in dollars) x 10 = Price in Danish Kroner = in this case 800 $

meh

Seems like Contrast ratio doesnt really tell you anything about blackness afterall. But there is no ISO standard for blackness in candela pr square meter, there should be in my opinion :(

Just a q, is contrast ratio a measurement of how black blackness is on the screen?

Could someone explain this to me, cause one of the things I really care for is getting good black. And why is getting real black so hard?

And how will DVI input help me..?

More could be done if your willing to lay out the $$.

Try a fanless PSU from Silentmaxx.

Suspend that hard drive and maybe put it in a sandwich.

Why the 2 case fans? Most of the heat is transfered out of the case
via the reserator anyways.
