Where to buy 3700 AMB in Sweden?

A freind of mine in who lives in Sweden, needs help in buying Antec cases. Anybody know some places retailers and/or e-tailers to buy a 3700AMB in the greater Stockholm area? Thanks.

What is this PSU trying to tell me?

My friend's Zalman ZM-400B-APS power supply has sent 2 "critical" messages to the Intel Active Monitor: "A voltage (3.3V) has gone outside of its recommended range. Bad voltage value 2.269 volts" Then 1 second later: "A voltage (3.3V) has returned to its recommended range." This EXACT alert has happ...

UPDATE! I finally couln't take it anylonger, so I RMA'd the 300W rev A3 Super Tornado unit to SeaSonic. The ramping up and down under basic functions such as e-mail retrieval from Outlook was too much. The replacement arrived yesterday. The RMA process was a little over 2 weeks. Will see how the rep...

HOOEY!! I've got a SS-300FB, REV A3, and given the right silent fan conditions/situation, I can make this PSU ramp up on simply checking OUTLOOK E-mails. With any kind of BEEFY power type system, this SEASONIC SUPER TORNADO (300 W) sounds like more like a CYCLONE than silent----unless you really pum...

Thanks. Ok, if with a given fan, set at 8v (with a multimeter as I always do) in "open air" the rpms are 1,200 per Intel Active Monitor, and you close up the case....and you now see 1,150 rpms...is the fan actually operating at the preset 8v, or less? I am sorry to reply I do not specifically recall...

"Actual" Voltage and fan speed--YMMV ???

Reading a previous post from Russ made me think of this: For this example (only--NOT REAL #'s): You have a 120mm Papst rear case fan that you set at 1,200 rpms or 9v in "free air" with the side panel removed from your case. When you reattach the side panel to your case the rpms drop to 1,150. So is ...

Could you be confusing Super Silencer models with Super Tornado models?

My Super Tornado (I have the 300w version) performs similar to what you have outlined.... idles ~ 750 rpm and under load ~1350 rpm.

Just got this new PSU---Seasonic Super Tornado (Revision A3) from Silicon Acoustics about 30-60 days ago on a Antec 3700BQE case. Globe 120mm fans. A very interesting fan that I've recently begun to "play" with. Best when used with a Zalman fan mate #1. Inexpensive and quiet, too. Much more information can be found in searching for a review on 120 mm fans done by Ed Ng. Here's the link. http://www.mnpctech.com/Globe.html

Best Method of Opening up "closed corners" of diff

Some fans have open corners, which makes mounting them with EAR fan isolators very easy. Other brands of fans, like Globe, and Nexus for example, have closed corners . Cutting away the "tube" to open up the corners in a nice professional-looking manner, to facilitate using the EAR mounts is best don...

The 3 wire connector from the PSU you describe is for rpm monitoring of the PSU fan.

The rear case fan of the BQE has a 4 pin molex connector. You can do a search in the forums for 12v 7v 5v and it will show you how to change the wiring positions in the 4 pin connector to get 5v.

YOU ARE CORRECT! I guess I was remembering my Antec SONATA's 380w PSU with its "fan only" connector. Sorry for the error. The BQE has the Antec 350w PSU (with no "fan only" connector). So, @ 12V the rear fan is wayyyyy too loud for you. Undervolt it to 5V , and your noise problem should go away with...

I have a 3700 BQE system. If you still have the factory PSU installed in your rig, the rear fan is most likely plugged into a 5V molex connector. It's pretty quiet. Personally, I do not find it objectionable at 5 V. Other posters have written similar views here. My thoughts are that maybe the noise ...
