I have a 7200.11 500GB from newegg. It's very good. It's as quiet as HD501LJ at idle. Seek noise also much better than 7200.10, about the same as HD501LJ. They are fast. 12.5ms seek time, ~87MB average reading speed according to HDTach. They runs very cool, ~29/30C at idle/write in my P180B lower ch...

Basically, the one with 1.225v default vid should have great oc potential.

You may use Coretemp 0.94 to verify the default vid.

The D975XBX cpu fan connector can only control pwm (4 pin) fan. So your nexus runs at full speed all the time.

The Zalman 7000-AlCu sits very loose due to the lack of IHS. I compensated for it by rolling a little rectangle of electrical tape and putting it under the "V" of the heatsink clip (requires removal of the fan). It works decently, but still not enough pressure IMO. I use Zalman 7000-AlCu, it works ...

You may try to fix the thermalright HR-05 NB HSF on ASUS MB, and zip tie a 80mm nuxes to the HR-05. Havn't try it but looks it should fit well.
