Congratulations. Are you planning on writing up a full review after you have had a chance to play around with it?

And: What configuration did you order?

Sounds like you haven't pulled the trigger yet. I am not likely to make a move until W7 comes, but I'll be keeping an eye on Anitec and will probably go have a look soon.

Did you buy?

I'm also looking at a new quiet PC and Anitec is only a few blocks away from me. I'd like to hear some reviews.

Just in from Zalman:
Some 6800’s can use the screws that come with the ZM80D-HP VGA Cooler, such as the XFX 6800. Others, you can use the screws that come with the Stock HSF. We will be releasing a revised version sometime soon that will be compatible with all 6800’s.

Personally, I think it looks great. However, it would be difficult to do a just review without spending some time with it. I am a bit worried that the window would let some sound through. Additionally, with tool free drive bays, it may be difficult to dampen the installed drives, if necessary (where...

Koolance GPU-180-L06: "Tubing Size (ID) 1/4", 6mm " Reserator: "Only 13x10mm or 12x8mm silicone tubes can be used with this product." Doesn't sound like they are compatible. If I can't get the video card to be water cooled for a reasonable price, are there any other good options? Thanks again.

You have to use the screws from the Koolance GPU waterblock. I am still testing at the moment, I don't think I'm going to use the Zalman one, the whole using clamps to secure the pipes worries me. Koolance's uses the traditional screw-on fittings like those for the Reserator that I"m more accustome...

zds - Thanks for the reply. Money is not too much of an issue as long as the bucks are justified. I am looking at the following: Case: ? Would like a case that has 2xUSB, audio mic and headphones, firewire. Antec P160? Or 3700 BQE? CPU: Athlon 3400 Socket 754 Memory: Mushkin 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR...

Thanks for both of your replies so quickly! This forum rules. My PC is in my master bedroom, which is 20x24 and it is currently much to loud!!! (and too slow, I might add). So, I am going to mail order a new case, Athlon 64 3400 and other associated components like memory, case, and other stuff to b...

Did you ever find a way to mount the Zalman waterblock onto the 6800? If so, I'd love to hear how. If not, does anyone have a recommendation on how to quietly cool a 6800 GT? I know that BFG has the watercooled Ultra, but I can't find any of those available at the moment, and I'm reluctant to pony u...
