Thanks! I have actually found a store near me that sells nexus fans, so I think I'm just going to buy 1 to replace my PSU fan, rather than 2 (as I was planning to do to save on shipping). I'll definitely look into those options if I end up not being able to deal with the cpu fan noise though.

Don't rule out the abit ax8 rev2 board as well. I have the rev1 (which doesn't support x2 ships) but it's been rock solid for me and I definitely recommend it.
