I had no problems putting the Scythe Ninja Plus Rev. B on the M2N-E.
Here's an old image of my case:

To solve my problem I bought a ZM-MFC 1 controller to control all 4 fans. Now, wouldn't you know it Nexus 120s won't start whatsoever with this controller until I give them a little push manually with my finger. Even if that were the case though, I still can't control the speed with this particular ...

3.5" fan controller/y-splitter
The Abit KN9 Ultra only has one controllable fan header and what I'm trying to do is undervolt all 4 of my Nexus 120s. Here are some ideas I hope could work: (1) Buy around 3 y-splitters and plug them into eachother along with the fans and cross my fingers that my mobo doesn't fry with all that curr...

I'm sorry to bring back a dead topic but what other means is there that I can resort to? The KN9 is an ABIT mobo but I hear some of the Gigabytes are having the same problem though. Any advice would be extremely helpful. I'm tearing my hair out over buying this board when my p180 has four Nexus fans...

The reason I ask if upside down is because I'm not quite sure either of those coolers will fit between my card and the ninja. Also I have the back panels taped up only because I've read other people's positive results while doing it. From what I gather it keeps the air flow in and out of the case mo...

Thanks for the replies. I threw some as5 on it a while back and it seemed to improve slightly but still burnt to touch. I'm not quite sure what you guys mean though by removing the top cover off the chipset heatsink. NyteOwl: thanks for the tip bud, I was never certain how to mount the fan onto the ...

KN9 Ultra won't control fan speed
The KN9 has 4 fan connectors which are the CPUFAN1, SYSFAN, and AUXFAN1~2. For some reason I can only control the speed of the SYSFAN whether it be in the bios or speedfan. Is anyone else with this board or a similar one having the same problem? The good thing is the rpm of the fans shows up properl...

AMD 4200x2 M2N-E Seasonic 500w 7900GT KO w/ VF900 using 2 fanmates to spin at 1100rpm Samsung 200gb The southbridge gets extremely hot, supposedly the heat is suppose to transfer to the heatsink that is directly left of the ninja. I don't suppose there's an alternative that will fit under my card so...

Cracked Nexus 120mm & XP120
While pulling the tubes out with pliers after I hacksawed some grooves, I cracked through 2 of the sides about a quarter of an inch big. So far there's nothing strange like whistling sounds, etc. Should I just buy another one or won't this be an issue?

VF900 vs 7900GT stock
Is the VF900 much more quiet/cool than the stock 7900GT fan? I just feel sort of guilty buying a new $400 card and ripping the hs/fan off of it. At the moment it idles at 41 and generally goes up to around 50 under load. The thing I hate about the stock though is it ramps up the fan speed under even...

Looks like the Nexus I'm looking at is the 4000 shown here:

I can get the 4090 from another site though. What is the difference between the two?[/url]

OK after checking some sites and reading more threads, what I have to work with is the NoiseTaker 425, NX-4000 and ZM400B. I've read a couple things about people having to mod their Enermax's for it to be quiet enough. And as far as the Nexus and Zalman 400W they seem to be pretty tied, even on the ...

SS 460W Alternative
The Super Silencer 460W is only available at FrontierPC in Canada, which has been out of stock for quite a while mind you. I'm looking for an alt that's just as quiet and within the 460-480W range, but if all else fails, 400. The Tagan 480W looked like a good choice, but then I read a couple posts o...

Thanks for all the input! A little off topic but how do you guys like your stock AMD 64 cpu fans? I'm using the one that came with the 64 3200 because its a lot quieter at low loads than my SilentBoost on my old XP 2400 (because of Cool N' Quiet?). I'm curious now since I'm ordering in a psu, if I s...

SLK3700-BQE's 350w needs replacement
My current setup is: AMD 64 3200 ASUS K8N-E Deluxe 9700 PRO Antec SL350 (came with case) I upgraded to an AMD 64 a couple days ago and last night I noticed that when I go into high intensive games my PSU goes from almost no sound to full out horrible. It sounds like it's right maxed out and everythi...
