Anechoic room measurements - 0,3 dB over room sound floor...
http://tystpc.nu/pics/forum/hfx/soundproof.jpg I was at the facility above with a mCubed HFX pc for some measurements last week. AFAIK it's one of the most advanced dead silent damped rooms in northern Europe. Sorry for the mobile phone picture quality :? One meter in front of the chassis while run...

Don't suppose it's possible to use a second heatpipe set to cool 2 7800GTXs in SLi? If so any chance you could give it a go? I'm really interested to see just how far this case will go! Just moved to Germany (from England) so it's a bit cheaper to get hold of now. Al EDIT - also are you using the n...

Currently running the dual core 3800+ at 2,4GHz with 100% stability. Default clock is 2,0GHz! If I run two Prime95 (SP2004), one on each cpu, it gets a bit hot but is still stable. But that's a bit of an extreme test too  Cool thing this dual core stuff! I can run a Prime95 stress test on one...

Hi! Sounds like a "normal" bios setting issue. Things that might render that message are a too high OC, when hardware like the cpu has changed or after a bios update. Did you go in to the bios and make sure all settings where ok and then save it all? Sometimes loading the bios setup defaults must be...

Haven't been in here for a little while and wow, lots of responses to my little post! Thanks for all the kind words! :D Yesterday I picked up a dual core AMD 3800+ and it's in the box running fine. Haven't had time to overclock it yet though. I'll get back to you when I've seen what is possible. I'v...

I'm having fun building a fanless pc for my living room using mCubeds hfX chassi. I'm the importer of their products here in Sweden but I'm first and foremost a silent computer hard core fan since many many years :D Anyway, I had my hfX assembled and running but then I thought I'd push the envelope ...

http://www.mcubed-tech.com/eng/Luefterliste.html T-Balancers allow you to run many fans down to 2%. In my experience you can get very effective cooling at surpirisingly low rpms if the case and general setup is right. I don't have any fan running much over 600 rpm in my current SLK3000B at normal pc...

I bought two Phantoms in late november here in Sweden. One died after two weeks. Got it replaced with a new one and have had no other problems yet. It is absolutely not a overheating or overload issue. The two Phantoms are in identical boxes. These two pcs are placed next to each other doing about t...

Well, you need Samurize and the Tban software running. So it's not free from a resource point of view. The templates I made use a WSH-script getting all data from Tbans database file. It's not the most low-resource solution you can do either, so currently it's not perfect if you want to update every...

Re: Personal experiences
I just bought slk3000b. Some thougts: 1. Using antec's rubber mounting, my two 7200rpm hdd:s are _A LOT_ noisier than my old'n ugly ex-case with hdd-bay standing at the bottom of the case. 2. QT-technology 300W 8x8 PSU fan is quieter than the supplied antec-fan set to lowest speed. -> I have to iso...

I also have an Antec SLK3000B with an Antec Phantom. I agree that the lowest setting is well chosen. If one keeps the chassie inside tidy and have a more silent 120mm fan in the front you have a good basis to build a really silent PC. But the mid and high settings are way to loud to be useful in a s...

Well, T-Balancer supports controlling its fan channels reading your motherboard/cpu temp sensors through Motherboardmonitor also. But with your own made response curves and all the other built in functionality of course :D So you could buy the T-Balancer Solo which comes with only one digital sensor...

mCubed T-Balancer + Samurize = True
I've made some templates so you can get all the information you want out of your T-Balancer and display it using Samurize. I'm surely no wizard of cool design but anyone interested can tweak the configuration to their hearts desire (and probably come up with something cooler 8) ) You can download al...

I know a number of people using Mitron fancontrollers who solved their PWM induced fan noise problems with the mCubed TBAN-YA Attenuator. It filters out the PWM signal to a much softer waveform. It also solved a slight buzz from a 60mm Papst fan I have when controlled by my T-Balancer. Please note I...

I'm really looking for some kind of hardware fan controller... something with knobs preferably. Ooops, we all went a bit overboard in this thread then didn't we   Sorry. My personal standpoint on knobs, switches and the 5 and 7 volt trick is that they're all ok but why run your fans too...

I've found that reading it out loud makes it somewhat understandable for a Dutch person... as long as the reading is done by a Dutch person  Funny thing is, I've never seen that quitting-bug until 2.1.0. Oh well, I'll upgrade to 2.1...
