The temps with the HT-101 were 3 to 4 degrees (celsius) higher than with the SI-97 installed. So the SI-97 cools...

My SI-97 heatsink just came in. I installed it on my Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2. Yes, the only motherboard that supposed to be incompatible for this heatsink. I don't have problems fitting it at all. The only thing you should mind is that you have to be absolutely sure that the clearance between the mot...

I'm really curious how the Noiseblocker SX1 120mm fan compares with the Nexus 120mm. The Noiseblocker is rated 38 CFM @ 17 dBa.

Re: SI-97 vs SP-97 vs CNPS7000A?
Which is better? The SP-97 is all copper with heatpipes, shouldn't it perform better than the SI-97? I haven't seen a direct comparison review. if you put some effort in it, you would've found this: http://forums.silentpcreview.com/viewtopic.php?t=15938&start=90 and this: http://forums.pimprig.com/...

martinlk, I find it really really difficult to tell weither your setup fits or not but I'll try to help. Recently I built a computer in a centurion 5 (asus a7n8x-e deluxe, thermalright SP97) also with the socket at the very top of the motherboard. I must say that there's a lot of clearance between t...
