I have had the sleeve bearing Nexus 120mm running horizontally in my SS S12-330 for over a year and a half, probably almost two years now, without any issues (noise, cooling, etc.). The fan is connected to my mobo and controlled by Speedfan, which I let it run at about 400-500 rpm idle, 900-1000 rpm...

You can do what I did and swap the fan in your PSU with one of your choice, then route the leads out of the PSU and to your motherboard.

I know my 7600gs AGP had an HSI heatsink, see the pictures in my link. I dunno if/where you can find those though -- it just uses a pushpin mount system through the holes around the HSI. Simple, but no idea where you'd get one... maybe if you asked nice XFX would send one of theirs.

You're really going to have a hard time finding an aftermarket cooler for the AGP 7xxx series. The ones from Zalman (at least my ZM80D-HP, and only at an angle on my 7600gs) will just barely reach the distance of the mounting holes, but might not take care of the HSI bridge chip. The coolers from mo...

The link you posted doesn't appear to be working, but if what you say is true, then that's nice to hear.

edit: got the link to work, you just put an extra comma at the end

Badger, I don't quite understand what you've done because you said that you didn't want a cooler that blocked your PCI slots but surely your Zalman does just that. Was it just that you couldn't find a cooler that would go above? Anyway, I'll let you know if the S2 works out. The Zalman does take up...

My Samsung 930Bs do it up until a certain amount of brightness, too. It is common; in fact I'd be surprised if there were a panel that didn't have it at any level.

Those temps are absolutely fine. I have an E4300 that runs at 2.4ghz and at 1.15 volts. I lapped both the CPU and the Ninja and used AS5, and am using the Thermalright Bolt-Thru Kit. The Ninja is passive and the only two fans in the case are at the exhaust behind the Ninja and above the Ninja in the...

Solved my own problem... I made the ZM80D-HP fit. I was right, all I had to do was mount it at an angle to make the arms reach. It's starting to show its age though, screw holes are beginning to stip and I cant get it as tight around the heatpipes as it needs to be. The first time I did it I had tem...

Yeah, I did. I tried the longer one too and it just wasn't enough. Strangely enough, the shorter/fatter block has the same arm extension as the longer/skinnier block.

I'm going to have to look again, but I think if I can somehow mount it off-center that the arms might reach the holes.

Aerocool VM-101 and 7600GT AGP compatibility

Does anyone know if the VM-101 is compatible with the 7600GT AGP? The card has the weird "rectangular" mounting holes, rendering my Zalman ZM80D-HP useless for it. It also doesn't appear that HR-03 works either... in fact, nearly nothing works with it. I'm specifically looking for a cooler that is m...
