Good point Tibors.
I started it here because it was more focused on showing off your pictures and less on discussing techniques. I don't know id there is a way to "mirror" the thread so it is in both areas, but if there is than that would be up to a moderator.

Thats why I got the H1A... for those hot days :) Here's a video file of how my setup sounds. A little explination is needed. This is recorded approximately 12" from the front of the case. I took it with my digital camera (not quite high end audio recording equipment). You will see me turn knobs down...

I have the newest cordless Dremel Model 8000-1 with litium ion battery. My battery life is excelent! 10.8v! that's more power than most corded models! Cranks up to 35,000rpm! I love it. It has treated me very well. Highly recomended!

My biggest offender now is that stock Antec 120mm exhaust fan. I always run it at 5v but it is still the loudest thing in my case, not that it's actually loud. It's actually pretty quiet. Just not as quiet as my other components. I wonder what would be better... Getting a Nexus or Panaflow and repla...

And if you can get by with a H1 at 1300 rpm, I bet you could get by with a Nexus fan too. And I guess it would be a bit quieter. I could get by with a Nexus or L1A but... I like the H1A because I can crank it up if I need to. Other fans will cap out at 1900rpm. We get heat waves here in Southern Ca...

burcakb Why don't you point your ducting mod to the exhaust in suck mode? That'll get the heat out the system without heating up your PSU? I do have it that way. I just haven't posted it again. Well, I ended up just getting the H1A and here is my conclusion. I wanted it to be silent at the lowest RPM but a good performer at higher RPMs. It does just that. At 5v it is dead silent. Turning up the volts for gaming and other cpu intensive activity really helps. Obviously it is very audible at ...

The cable management is looking alot better now.
It must be hard to manage all those cables with so many drives.
If i were you, i'd ditch the cd drive.
Just use the dvd drive.

I got a good reading of the H1A @ 4v. It's running at approximately 1300rpm. I got off my lazy butt and found out that blowing and sucking yielded the same results. I made a 4pin molex to 2pin adaptor, pluged the front LEDs to the adaptor, then plugged that into my mobo's HDD activity. So when there is HDD activity the front LEDs flash. It's pretty cool, but probab...

Does anyone know of a program that can manualy spin the hdd down and back up? I like to use these type of features but they always want to be automated, like Cool 'n' Quite. Thanks for all the input.
As for my System, check my sig.
I need to add my case to my sig though.
I have a Sonata.
The only fans in my system are:
CPU Fan Tt
PSU Fan OCZ
Rear Case Fan Antec (5v)
I cut away some plastic in the frot to help it breathe.
