I have a 14 month old and a baby on the way, they will be 19 months apart, so I can attest that Mountain Dew (at least code red anyway) doesn't lower your spermcount, at least not dramatically enough to stop reproduction.

p.s. just so you know, breastfeeding also does not prevent pregnancy ;)
