It was long time since i seen 60C or above on VRM or chipset, mostly they are at 50C range; even with uncooled VRM's temperatures around 70C are a rarity. So yes, it is a good thing to measure VRM and chipset temperatures, but it is nowhere near the seriousness of good old nForce4 problems. Ha! I h...

Mini-ninja, push pin mounting on Intel 1156

Last night: I installed my mini-ninja on my new P55 motherboard with an i5-750 in January. I had to buy the $10 scythe mount that uses plastic push pins. This mounting system kinda sucks, btw. I would prefer a bolt-through with some spring tension. Well long story short, it wasn't running that great...

Nexus Value does make sense.

I have the Antec Earthwatts Green 430W 80plus Bronze PSU. The fan is on the back which I think is better for the 2480 case since the PSU is in it's own compartment. The earthwatts are pretty quiet.

Either one would be good.

Hi. Your computer looks awesome! I think your video card is way too hot- a bigger and more thought-out heatsink would probably help a lot. Interesting choice with the Phenom x3, I'll bet it works great!

Hello, No problems, the english is fine. For the CPU, I was saying I feel that this case can't handle a ton of heat- which is why the CPU producing less heat would be good. You could still get a Phenom2 x4, I wonder if it is possible to undervolt them a little? I also don't know how cool they run co...

Full: I own an NSK-2480, installed with an i5, HD 5770, and mini ninja so I feel I'm qualified to comment: On the CPU issue- Most i3 and i5 CPUs do not have integrated graphics, so I believe you are mistaken on this. Zerotherm Nirvana

Did a quick search, didn't see anything on this yet. Kind of a unique design, a little pricey. TRUE120 holds it's ground. Might be worth a look though.

Laptop hard drives in a desktop?

Just wondering what cables you guys use for your laptop hard drives in a desktop computer. Doesn't look like my laptop hard drive has the standard connectors on the back. I'll need power and signal, of course. I checked a few places and they dont' stock such cables. This is for a 5 year old ATA/100 ...

I agree with djkest in general, though. I add oatmeal to lots of things: cereal, bread, smoothies. Waffle mix is a good idea, too. Yes indeed. Pancakes, waffles, or just about anything. Can be tricky with muffins or bread because those are a little more "picky" about what you do to them. A nice thi...

I know people die in the US army basic training, but probably half of them are suicides. They kind of do a psychological thing to you, some people can't handle it. And then of course every year some people have heart attacks, some people die during training. I remember one guy died at the gas chambe...

I wonder how this would work with some smashed up raisin bran or maybe try some cheerios. Actually, what I do for mine is, I add lots of dry oatmeal to the mix. I also use the whole-wheat mix to start off with. Then I add a couple dashes of cinnamon, and even a splash of vanilla if I'm feeling fiest...

since that is the way the vast majority of legally purchased guns are used. It is also the big equalizer......nothing else compares. An older woman stands no chance against anybody. So what exactly is your point? USA needs handguns, because you might get invaded? Even if Brits had had handguns, they would have still needed rifles. Think of every time you stop or slow down and money thrown away. Anticipate lights and drive accordingly.
