Re: Akasa Euler Fanless case

@Delta_42

What board are you using with yours and any noise at all such as buzzing or high pitched whines, whistles or chirping noises?

Re: Akasa Euler Fanless case

I'm unsure if to get the DQ77KB or DH61AG board for this as there seems to be a lot of complaints around the web for the DQ77KB being buggy with some being DOA on purchase. People on the Intel forum seem to feel the DQ77KB is more like a beta board than a retail board as the CPU support list for it ...

Re: Akasa Euler Fanless case

Anybody know if the DQ77KB board for this boots ok if you don't have a keyboard, mouse or Monitor attached?

Also a comment on NewEgg for the DQ77KB said you can't disable Intel AMT is this a problem at all?

Thanks

Re: Akasa Euler Fanless case

BAH! :(

I have a spare SDD and had hoped i could shoe horn it in there instead of buying a Msata as the speed is limited on the mini slots.

What about if the SSD board was removed from the SSD case would there still be no room for it ?

Re: Antec NSK3480 with PSU extender bracket ?

Where did you find that "PSU extender"? As the posted links by ces it's a Lian-Li PE-01 Power Supply Bracket http://www.lian-li.com.tw/v2/en/product/product06.php?pr_index=249&cl_index=2&sc_index=10&ss_index=84&g=f Are you worried about optical drive length being in the way? What about getting the ...

Thanks for that Jamie I wonder if it could be twisted around so it's mounted upwards as then it's 14mm wider than the HR-01+ so a extra 7mm overhang. My build will be using a E8200 which i hoped to run at stock. Wonder if anybody has ever got a Scythe Orochi in the NSK3480 as the Orochi is taller th...

Yeah i'm having second thoughts.

Maybe i should just stick to something somebody else is already using in the NSK 3480.

It's just that xbitlabs had better results passive cooling with a IFX-14 than a scythe orochi. :)

NSK3480 and IFX-14 ?

Has anybody managed to fit a IFX-14 in the NSK3480 as the edge of the LGA775 boards look very close to PSU shelf but i'm unsure if the IFX-14 hangs over the board or not.

Thanks
