Right but my goal is to regulate this fan & find the best "less noise / good flow" combo, not to turn off the fan completely.
On my other psu it's a 2 pin fan this one no idea plus if i open it the warranty is void hmm. Anyway i'll try and see.

Control the PSU's fan
I wonder if that would be dangerous to control the fan of my new PSU which is a Zalman ZM600 HP (600 watts) review here . This PSU has a rad behind to exhaust the heat aswell as a fan the which i find noisy (i'm picky) My main concern is "will the psu boot / work" if i remove the fan and control it ...
