wouldnt it simply be because those other review sites and SPCR used different fans? nexus is a very low CFM fan, and as such shows heatsink performance under minimal airflow conditions the other sites use higher airflow fans, and as you know, some heatsinks perform alot better with high CFM fans and...

why not just put the arm over the CPU cooler where its designed to be? but if uve got a tower CPU HSF then i guess there would be no problems with cable tieing a fan to the arm

as if an x850xt can be considered mid range! that was THE best gfx card available in the previous generation. it was the x700, x800SE, and recently the x800GTO that is a mid range card. 256mb 6600gt's are available to buy (although not as common as the 128mb version). one company even has a 512mb ve...

i guess it would be possible with heaps low-end equipment, but i dont see how a modest rig (say, 3500+ & 6600gt) would cope running with TTs pictured fanless equipment under load. even the ninja couldnt keep the SPCR test bench (P4 2.4ghz) cool enough when mounted OUTSIDE of a case. combine this wit...

considering the size, weight and design of the VF700, and the size, weight and design of typical stock cooling, i think its safe to say that the zalman would cool it ok. at what voltage, i dunno. im not even sure if the mounting holes would line up properly
