Need an atx 2.0 psu

i just ordered an MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum mobo, and i just realized that i now need to replace my Seasonic Super Tornado 400w PSU cause it doesnt have a 24pin mobo connector or support for PCI-E. i was looking at the S12-430, but just saw the thread that mike c said they wouldnt be available for anoth...

i just automatically except the fact that whenever i buy any type of PC product with an air cooling solution that isnt completely passive by default is going to require me to mod my own fan and volt mod it down to a respectible speed. i almost never stick with stock cooling on anything in my PC.

here's an idea. why dont you just put your own 120mm papst fan in it and 7volt it.

end of discussion. now its just as good as any other PSU with a 120mm fan in it and just as quiet if not more so.

well mine was making a noise that was quit audible. you could easily hear it over the noise of the rest of the computer at any distance in the same room. i checked out the PSU reviews and the seasonic tornado seems to have the better efficiency rating. so i think i'll go with the 400w version of tha...
