my suggestion will sound kind off. If you got the money, for the Plextor dvdrw 16x, it can do everything, burn dvds and read them. Also you are getting the best burner. If not, get a cheaper dvd burner, once again it can do everything, and you are also future proof, if you ever need to burn a dvd. ...

Two things: 1. I don't have a copy of Windows XP, and 2. I managed to figure out what the problem is. I had forgotten that the particular type of Corsair memory I have needs more than 2.5v, I upped it to 2.75, and now everythings working well. Thanks, all. Good job. it sucks how something we would ...

I have seen a 2.5 drive in a enclosure, and it was very quiet, couldnt even hear the noise. I am not sure if it was due to the enclosure or the hard drive. But I am guessing you can get a really quiet hard drive, and put in the enclosure. Are you planning to boot of the enclosure, or use it has a st...

For the cpu I hear venice cores, are better with cool and quiet, and also use less power, since they run at 1.4volts. You could replace the 60mm fans, with 60mm silenx fans, or even turn them of, or just leave one. Also couldnt you install a memory card reader in the second cdrom bay. For the hard d...

But the biggest problem my hard drive makes a ennoying hissing sound, or the motor spinning sound, just like any other hard drive. This hard drive is quiet, you can hear no...
