does anyone know if this psu is quiet because i have a 480watt Hiper psu and its silent

the motherboard is probably the best i've ever had all the little extra features like memtest built into the bios.

it loves voltage, so i need to get some extra cooling if i wana overclock more even tho, theres not really much need too, i would rather have it quieter.

yeah im one of those people having problems ocing the dfi, i had a asus a8v deluxe using the same processor i could get 2.6ghz on stock voltage, the dfi seems to have trouble doing 2.4 at 1.5

i got a hiper 480watt silent power supply from PCWORLD for £45 it came with extra rounded ide cables and a chrome fan 80mm fan and it the quietest thing in my computer at the moment

i've got the stock cooler on with the same mobo as you and get 35ish idle 42 load

i had a silenx ixtrema 120 that used to get around 30idle and 40 load

i have a DFI NF4 Ultra-D, oh well there are other things that need quietening on my pc but they require money.

the idle noise of this drive is nearly as good as my 160gb samsung nidec which the motor on it died seeks are not that loud but can be annoying

I can seem to set the aam on this drive i've tried using hitachi tool but it says it doesnt support my drive any idea's or tips for me?

i have an silenx silenx psu and my friend has an ahanix his is slighty louder than mine, but mine is the quietest psu i've ever heard, does create a bit more heat than some psus tho, i wants a antec phantom!! people dont like the silenx guy that was on the forum cos was pretending to be someone else...

i've got an original barton unlocked which clocks to 2.2 undervolted to 1.525 but i cant seem to get it higher and keep stable, even with increasing voltage lots

i have a samsung SP1604N and it is the quietest drive i have used at first i didnt think it was on but then i heard some clicking when it was loading, but then i turned on AAM and theres no sound atall that i can hear.

im gonna order the compucase in black, and buy a quiet fan with the money i save.

should i get the compucase LX-6A19 for £50 or Antec SLK3700AMB for £70
except for the door what extra features does the antec have, i dont need another psu but fans would be useful
