What version of Matrix Storage Manager did you use?
Usually when I install Vista 64 I do not need drivers on install, but later when I install this, it'll say it's older than what's currently installed. I say overwrite the newer ones and things like eSATA start working.

In the last pic, look to the right of the Ninja. SPI270LE :) I'll have to be creative with the power cable, and I'm going to do a fan swap or maybe Bluefront's mesh mod. The plan is two optical drives, E8400 or E8500 (depending on which clocks 4 GHz with lowest volts/temps), and a 120mm S-Flex on th...

Stupid HDD cage is stuck in there. You can pop it out if you pull up on the optical drive cage, but to make things easier I just took out my Wiss snips: http://verbicide.ca/images/worklog/sg02/01-hdd_cage.jpg Now I can rotate it out but only when the case is empty: http://verbicide.ca/images/worklog...

Vista X64 AAM adjust?
Hey guys, I have an Asus board, and as many threads mention , I am unable to permanently enable AAM. I am running Vista X64 so NHC is out of the question. HD Tune Pro gives me "Error setting AAM." What other options do I have besides switching motherboards? :( My Hitachi 1TB seeks are VERY loud insi...

I don't buy nonmodular PSUs anymore. Slightly more complexity inside the PSU, yet far simplified and safer outside it. safer? how so? Once I built a machine and tucked the extra PSU cables on the side of it between the PSU and the door. I was mucking around inside, and then decided to put the side ...

Swapped in a Scythe S-Flex F and now the loudest things are my Yate Loons at 5V, and a low buzzing from my DD-CPX1 pump. My Hitachi 1TB seeks are quite loud, so I think it's either time for AAM or a Samsung F1. FYI the fan connector on the stock HX620 fan is the same as on the 40mm Scythe Mini Kaze....

FYI, Link to Sapphire forums regarding BIOS fan control fix. I've had to flash 4 cards of mine (three 3870 and one 3850) with an updated BIOS that controls the fan speed properly, otherwise my cards would throttle after an extended period of gaming. Apparently it only affected earlier batches of vid...
