I'm all for censoring at the early hours, no need for the smallest of children to hear swearing all the time, but after 20:00ish, anything should go, imo.

I don't really see the point in filtering out potty mouth nouns etc when there are only people of proper age watching.

Re: My new silent (almost there) NSK-2480 (many pics)

Interesting, I though the stock cooler on the graphics card would make the most noise. Very clean build by the way. Me like! :D Not yet, that cooler (when running at low rpm) is pretty silent. As soon as he silences his fans though, then it will be the loudest part. After that probably the PSU and ...

I would assume that it need batteries because a wall socket gives too high a voltage. And reducing the vltage would require the Kill A Watt things to be more expensive and bigger.

Seraphyn, it may be counter intuitive but the math is easy once you realize the cost of the death penalty is mostly due to the trial costs as opposed to the cost of just "killing him." In effect, you're paying for the time of the court, including judge(s), lawyers on both side, paralegals, court re...

How the hell is a life imprisonment cheaper then death penalty? o_O
1 bullet/rope/whatever vs 40-60 years of living off my money. Seems odd that supporting his life is cheaper then just ending it.

Anyway, if killing him is more expensive, life imprisonment it is.

A HTPC, to me, is a PC which is focused on media play with certain requirements such as silence, good sound quality, low power draw and of course, capable media playback. You can game etc on a HTPC as it's just a PC, but it's not where you design it for (budget, parts, setting). My gaming rig is use...

Ninja or TRUE?

Quick question: Will it make a noticable difference in temperature if i go from my TRUE to a Ninja?

I have an intake fan at 600rpm, an exhaust at 600rpm and one on the CPU cooler also at 600rpm pretty much all the time. My current temperatures are 43C CPU with a 21C ambient.

I too, was hoping on HD-DVD to win. Simply because i don't much care for DRM and silly Region Coding and of course because Sony has a bad trackrecord concerning these.

Ah well, at least when prices drop i won't have to think about which format now.
