Re: My new silent (almost there) NSK-2480 (many pics)
Interesting, I though the stock cooler on the graphics card would make the most noise. Very clean build by the way. Me like! :D Not yet, that cooler (when running at low rpm) is pretty silent. As soon as he silences his fans though, then it will be the loudest part. After that probably the PSU and ...

when they switched from analog to digital i happened to be in the middle of moving. Never got around to ordering TV, never missed it either. Seraphyn, it may be counter intuitive but the math is easy once you realize the cost of the death penalty is mostly due to the trial costs as opposed to the cost of just "killing him." In effect, you're paying for the time of the court, including judge(s), lawyers on both side, paralegals, court re...

A HTPC, to me, is a PC which is focused on media play with certain requirements such as silence, good sound quality, low power draw and of course, capable media playback. You can game etc on a HTPC as it's just a PC, but it's not where you design it for (budget, parts, setting). My gaming rig is use...

Ninja or TRUE?
Quick question: Will it make a noticable difference in temperature if i go from my TRUE to a Ninja?
I have an intake fan at 600rpm, an exhaust at 600rpm and one on the CPU cooler also at 600rpm pretty much all the time. My current temperatures are 43C CPU with a 21C ambient.

I wonder about folks who say racial composition isn't an issue... I wonder if they speak from experience. I lived in a 50/50 neighbourhood for pretty much my entire life. The problem is not so much immigration, it is that these immigrants don't have quite the future they imagined when they decided ...

Crime is the problem once again....not guns. Of course crime is the root of the problem, who said otherwise? Guns are just a tool to commit a crime. Handguns in every home and on every citizen make it easier to commit deadly first crimes. These crimes you often can't see coming clearly and are thus...

As if producers are going to pay.. it'll just be the consumer that'll end up paying. Not that that's such a big deal to me, but they (politicians) shouldn't try and make it sound like we're getting somekind of break when everything stays the same. The tax stays and instead of paying when we want to ...

Small detail: murderers, burglars, and muggers have to be convicted before they are actually considered murderers, burglars, and muggers, and only then can be denied financial support. Or were you suggesting abolishing presumption of innocence? No problem really, the way things are going we are all...

Can't drive a car without an engine, i'd say. If the BIOS doesn't recognize the CPU, how can it do anything? Apparently the older rev2.0 boards don't seem to have the f8 BIOS on them, at least after some digging i found a guy with a f6 BIOS on his DS3L, maybe you got an 'old' new board. Seems to be ...

Distrusting governments is only natural, fearing them however is something completely different. Fear means you believe that they are actually trying to hurt you, which is a clear sign that you should move to a different country. About the lost elections and US foreign policy i can be brief. I find ...
