NoFan CR-95C Copper Fanless CPU Cooler Opinions?

This heatsink is freaking massive and copper even for all the fins not just the heat pipes. You do lose 1 pci-e slot (the 1x slot on the top) you have to use low profile ram and have a bit of space over the top of the mobo too. It requires 180mm of clearance so it won't work for a lot of cases. The ...

Re: New Seasonic G360 bad whining

doveman that is definitely not a normal sound for any PSU let alone a quality one. Hell the generic 400 watt PSU that comes with a dell doesn't even make those noises. You should RMA that to Seasonic. That noise is totally unacceptable. Seasonic is supposed to be a premium brand. My x660 will go rig...

Re: Overclocking Athlon X4 630 on Biostar TA790GXBE

my voltage on my "crap" amd 1100t system is much higher than the voltages around here. I'm at 1.46 volts to achieve 4.2ghz 21x200 on the amd phenomII x6 1100t. And this is in a crappy dell case with 1 intake fan and 1 exhaust and a corsair h80 in push pull. Prime 95 pushes temps to 58C in an air con...

Re: tinted film for dimming bright LED's

I have this dark blue electrical tape that works perfect. 1 layer dims it, 2 layers dims it more, 3 layers its just barely visible and 4 layers its totally gone. I use 1 layer for some and 2 layers for others. It's much too involved to buy a dimmer led light and change the lights. That's a little cr...

the FT02 is such a sexy case. Even to RV02 works if you are on a cheaper budget. I'm gonna go for an FT02 or RV02 build for skylake. Right now I have a nanoxia deep silence 1 case. But I kinda wanna build an rv02 case out now. It's ok I can wait for skylake. Built a corsair 550d ivy bridge pc last y...

Re: My next silent pc build let me know what you think

I'm gonna get the MSI gtx 770 lightning. It's one of if not the fastest gtx 770 and it saves me 250. Or maybe the regular msi gtx n770 TF Newegg has a 20 dollar off samsung 840 pro deal going on so the 256GB 840 pro is only 37 dollars more than the 250GB 840 Evo. 37 dollars is pretty small differenc...

Re: Request to SPCR Plz Review: MSI TriFrozr Lightning gtx 7

Well I was thinking more like downclocking the lightning and lowering the fan profiles. Since it has a better cooling system if you downclock it to stock you should be able to have the fans spinning slower than the n780. Is that a possibility? Thats why I said I want SPCR to do a review. Downclock i...

Re: Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Case fans

Yea I'm thinking of adding another intake on the side. Going to only use the bottom hdd rack for the ssd + hdd so ill remove the top cages to get better airflow. A good 120mm case fan is going to be quieter than the gpu so if I can get cold air blowing onto the gpu from the side it should lower the ...

"The outside fans are 90mm while yellow, interior fan is smaller at 80mm. Re: My next silent pc build let me know what you think

It probably doesn't matter much which version i get. The only time the card will even ramp its fans up is when im gaming. So when I get headphones on gaming I could have the crappiest cooler with like 4 60mm fans buzzing at 2500 rpm and I still wouldn't hear it. So MSI card should be fine even thoug...

Re: undervolting i7-4770/i5-4670

I am going to experiment adding a fan on the side of the case to blow cold air directly on the GPU. May be quieter adding a low-medium low speed fan right on top of the card on the side panel allowing the gpu fans to spin slower. Wil also experiment with a fan on the bottom as additional intake to r...

Even if it's not c2 it won't be the end of the world. Infact I dont even use sleep or hibernate or any of that. I just let my pc idle on the desktop fully awake when i'm not on it. I restart it when windows forces me to restart for updates that's it.

Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Case fans

Simple question. Would you replace the 2x 120mm intake 1x 140mm exhaust fans with quiet nexus or scythe GT or noctua. From what I've read the stock fans don't seem too bad. If you would replace what fans would you replace with?

I've read good things about the silverstone closed loop water cooler. That the pump is dead silent but the fans are noisy (which ill just replace the fans). Since I'm gonna have an msi gtx n780 TF the fanless heatsink probably wont work.

That is really frustrating. What do you recommend to be sure I get the latest revision? Is there another store that will accommodate this? I'll lose out on the combo deal but I don't really care I'd rather pay the extra 55 and get a guaranteed c2 stepping or even just go with the i5-4670k.
