Something is wrong with your card. 97C with the stock fan is absurdly high and more than double of what it should be. It's a bit higher than recommended, but not necessarily due to a fault with the card. Probably more of an issue with too warm air (due to too small air flow in that part of the case...

It might cause problems, mainly with ESD ( statisk elektricitet ) when you physically (dis-)mount the motherboard. Other than that, no problems. At the same time I fail to see how it could get in touch with the mobo in the first place. You should attach it only to the insides of the (outer) side, to...

- Positive pressure is #1 if dust is a major concern. (All filtered intake fans, no dust will enter anywhere else.)

- Negative pressure is better wrt all other aspects.

I use two pretty large filters for vacuum cleaners, mounted side by side in the bottom of my case. All incoming air will pass them, move through a short noise trap and pass one of three parallel 12cm fans before entering the actual computer interior.

Vista 64 bit works perfect, if you have decent hardware (no budget el-cheapo brands), no problems at all. I'm under the impression that Vista 64 runs better than Vista 32 on all 64 bit hardware, and that the difference really should be more apparent the more low end hardware used. Any 64 bit hardwa...
