Very nice but it seems a bit much for such a lite system! 500w psu? WHS is notorious for allowing very minimal hardware requirements, I mean sub 50w systems at the wall. the solo would be a great case for a WHS with 3 drives as would the p182, which is available for $60ar right now. But like I said,...

I bought one and returned it. Seek noise was really loud! I now have two WD.

Due to integration, it is Inevitable that the matx form factor is going to be the dominant form factor within a couple of years. that's my opinion. I see this new mini 182 as a forward looking product that has this eventuality in mind.

I have the 1200 slipstream and it doesn't seem to under volt that well. in my very cool system it is running at ~ 850 rpm connected to my motherboard header. I was hoping the RPM would be lower. I presume this fan will come in handy this summer.

antec reps are probably not keenly aware of the nuances of particular fans in quite the way we all are. :D the difference in the fan is one of fan speed and bearings. HE's get the slower, bb fan, EA's get the faster, sleeve bearing one. who knows what goes on in those marketing meetings but it seems...

I would say that only two 120mm hard drive bays are plenty for a case this small. the major problem for silencers though, is that it's built from aluminum and that 3.5" disk drive mounts are "hard". the case could be improved if silicon grommets were implemented in a mounting mechanism something lik...

udi, I have a solo with 1 100mm scythe intake @5v and one 120mm exhaust running at 800rpm. I have 1 3.5 drive and 1 notebook. Your case fans are quite close to minja. my temps are stabilizing at 38c for my CPU and if I open my window, it will go a bit lower. :-)

yes. I have the second generation Brisbane 5000+ and it seems to run cooler and react better to cool and quiet management. Actually things are starting to heat up a bit I will have to watch the CPU temps. It may be that I will have to slap my 92mm nexus on it.

Check your 80mm fan. Can you get a 120mm instead? Do you realize you have chosen a noisy video card? There may be fan-less options. It also seems weird to match such a powerful video card with a slow processor. You are on this site presumably because you desire a quiet system. I would hold off for a...
