This case looks nice, but is not really fun to work with... However one thing why I prefer this over many other cases is the fact that the front bays are smooth and don't have a mesh/grill.

Indeed, I haven't ruled out the fan, but it might make sense, if the fan does respond to the load. However I feel that there are two sources of the chirping, as it doesn't really make sense for a fan to chirp louder in response to my scrolling. I'll give it a try tomorrow morning though, maybe it'l...

Hello and Welcome to SPCR! Definitely sounds like the PSU fan is the culprit. I had a case fan do that "chirping" noise and sometimes it did it loud, sometimes not at all. Ended up replacing the fan and throwing it away. You could try stopping the PSU fan to see if the problem goes away and then thi...

I'll use the 2 P183 fans to move air generally -1 front, 1 back- for all the top chamber needs (cpu, gpu etc). The separated, walled off bottom chamber with the drives and PSU is the concern. Stupid me, forgot the chamber design of the P18x series. Looking at the design in detail and thinking to pu...

I dont understand, why you compare CPUs clock-to-clock. Relevant parameters are price, wattage, etc... If price and power consumption are not critical, making a comparison between CPUs will come down to the core clock. I do understand what you are saying now, AMD Pacifica seems to be superior to In...

Hello and Welcome to SPCR!
