Hi Neil, don't know as the version here: http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html says 5.91 for windows SMP which seems a long way from your 1.01... or am I being stupid?

Hi David, it's normal, Linux SMP does the same thing. IIRC it's something to do with cores waiting for all cores to finish their current bit before they all start together on the next bit/s. the SMP client refuses to play with me :/ , complains about wrong password even tho its the right one.. annoying! Did you try finstall ? PPD is Points Per Day. Calculated by points awarded divided by time taken to complete WU. No Linux version offers any F@H, you have to install manually. Best way is to use finstall , it does a good job and can add monitors for you, though I would propose FahMon as a monitor. Google "gentoo finstall"...

The file at /foldingathome/CPU1/client.cfg will tell you what personal info has been inputed. It may well be there from a previous install.
