Power and reset are exactly the same. I wasn't aware there was a problem with them. I hardly ever use them; I just use PS2 keyboard power on. Thanks DirtyLude. There have been issues with the P150/Solo buttons, so I was curious if they'd been improved on the Sonata Designer (which wouldn't be visib...

Don't be misled by the "statistics" in a forum poll. The responses are overwhelmingly from people with a complaint. Happy customers only rarely respond to such polls. That is true, however the poll isn't totally useless either. I wouldn't (and didn't ) base a decision on it alone but it is somethin...

I meant it seems like a really big PSU. Not sure if it's deeper than the biggest ones. (sorry if I confused anyone, I had a bit too much wine for dinner last night :P ) That's what I thought. I mean about the size, not the wine ;) Though Ultra's PSU is quite practical compared to OCZ's 2kW concept ...

Re: Antec Neopower 650?
The NeoPower 650 Blue now appears on the European NeoPower product page . The Tech Report reported on the launch of the 650W NeoPowers: The new PSUs are the NeoPower 650 and NeoPower 650 Blue , and as their names indicate, they're both rated for 650W of power output. The former is cooled by a single...

Re: The last power supply you will ever need!
By "new", do you mean finally hitting retail? This power supply was discussed in January. In addition to Ultra, OCZ also displayed a 2kW PSU at CES.djkest wrote:How about Ultra Products new 2000 watt monster??

Suppliers were getting them in about 3 week times, so i had to sniff out if anyone had any p150's left, which i was lucky to find. Ah, I see :) All other things being equal, I think I'd prefer the P150's NeoHE 430 to the Sonata Designer's EarthWatts 500 (apart from the fact the NeoHE 430 has modula...

There have been many previous complaints about the Solo's reset and power buttons. The power button has also recessed slightly; I no...

Hi joe123, nice system :) Which stores did you use? Apparently, the P150 is discontinued and the Sonata designer 500 is to replace it. Are there any substantial differences between the P150 and Sonata Designer 500 ? I presumed they are the same case just with a different PSU, different name and poss...

Antec Senior Vice President Interview
DriverHeaven.net has an Interview with Scott Richards , Antec Senior VP. He mainly talks about power supplies (but not about Antec's new "Signature" series), and cases to a lesser extent. A quick but worthwhile read. DH: The signature series receives an 80 Plus certification, meaning efficiency stay...

A number of reviews have shown that C2D based processors have measured real-world maximum power consumption noticeably lower than their rated TDP. While that is happily the case (although is it the case for literally all Core 2s, or do some exceed typical TDP?), the same is obviously true for AMD p...

As we know, AMD and Intel both have brackets for their CPU usage instead of saying exactly how much a CPU draws at max they say how much a whole group of CPU's draw at max i.e. 45W According to Athlon 64 for Quiet Power and ACTUAL Intel Processor Power Consumption! , Intel's TDP ratings are typical...
